TUM Garching

Henn GmbH

With almost 50,000 students, the Technical University of Munich is one of the best universities in Europe. It is integrated into the Bavarian Elite Network, which promotes the elite in higher education. The Garching research campus, located to the north of Munich, is TUM's largest campus.

Since its expansion in 2017, it has received a huge boost. Numerous new areas and rooms have been created on the three floors of the approximately 10,000m2 elongated building complex.

An atrium inside allows the surrounding areas to be shown off to a particularly good advantage. The bright expanded metal of the balustrade has an inviting and friendly effect. The ceiling area perfectly accentuates the technology theme. The suspended F30 fire protection ceiling made of expanded metal offers sufficient space in the ceiling cavity, e.g. for lighting systems and EDV solutions. Visually undisturbed, the open-pored exposed concrete in the foyer and the wooden slats in the lecture halls are shown off to their best advantage.
