Occupational education and rehabilitation centre Linz

The occupational education and rehabilitation centre (BBRZ) supports people after an accident or illness on their path back to professional life. After comprehensive modernization and renovation, this 12-story centre at Grillparzerstraße in Linz (Upper Austria) has been completed in 2013. The architectural firm Holzbauer&Partner was responsible for planning.

Metal ceilings have been installed in all areas of the BBRZ (office & classrooms, hallways). FURAL metal ceilings were able to satisfy the key requirements of an excellent room acoustic and a complete and simple possibility of revision. In addition, the decision against mineral fibres and for metal ceilings was made based on the best integration of built-ins.

Moreover, the BBRZ was received the preliminary silver certificate awarded by the DGNB (The German Sustainable Building Council). The educational centre values highly the balance of the relationship between environment and people.
