Grand Campus Opening at NETZSCH in Waldkraiburg

After around three and a half years of construction, the new NETZSCH Campus at Geretsrieder Straße 1 in Waldkraiburg was officially opened in September 2024. The project included the construction of a new multi-storey assembly hall and a directly connected office complex, creating a centralized location that brings together the three previously separate plants. At the same time, all existing buildings were comprehensively and high-quality modernized.

The World’s Most Advanced Progressive Cavity Pump Factory

Today, the NETZSCH Campus serves as a state-of-the-art production and research facility for NETZSCH Pumps & Systems. The company develops and manufactures durable capital goods and pursues a clearly sustainable approach through efficient spare parts supply and service processes. As a key part of the internationally operating NETZSCH Group, the Waldkraiburg site sets new standards in quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Floating ceilings as a Central Design Element

In the new office and communication areas, high-quality floating ceilings were installed across a total area of approximately 2,500 m². The selected floating ceiling system with perforation 2516 and integrated black acoustic fleece meets multiple requirements of modern office architecture:

Excellent acoustic performance: Ceiling panels significantly reduce reverberation and create an acoustically comfortable working environment, particularly in larger rooms and meeting areas.

Calm, homogeneous ceiling appearance: The combination of fine perforation and a restrained visual design ensures clear lines and supports a focused working atmosphere.

Architectural integration: Finished in RAL 9016, the system blends seamlessly into the bright, modern design concept of the new office complex.

Flexible installation: The system allows for efficient installation and provides flexibility for technical adjustments during the fit-out process.

Conclusion

The use of floating ceilings achieves a well-balanced combination of functionality, aesthetics, and acoustics. They make a significant contribution to the high quality of stay in the new office complex and support the overall architectural concept of transparency, efficiency, and modernity. The NETZSCH Campus thus presents itself not only as a technologically leading production site, but also as a forward-looking example of contemporary industrial work environments.
