Karl-Landsteiner University Krems
Arge DMAA/Vasko+Partner, 2016
The Karl-Landsteiner Private University for Health Science (KLPU) was founded in Krems in 2013. The university building officially opened in March 2017 was planned by the DMAA/Vasko+Partner joint venture. The building complex consists of two main buildings and a connecting bridge. The architecture is essentially restful but creates movement and transparency through the rhythm of the window openings and the interplay between façade and interior design.
FURAL metal ceilings were installed in the foyer, auditorium and festival hall. The ceiling with 0704 microperforations and bonded acoustic fleece ensures the perfect acoustic conditions necessary in educational buildings. The metal tiles in light bronze create a peaceful ceiling landscape and guarantee optimum serviceability. The auditoria are fitted with cooling ceilings.
