Insurance Institute Vienna

Modernisation with Character: Insurance Institute Vienna

As part of a comprehensive renovation, the Insurance Institute in Vienna was brought up to date both in design and functionality. The redesign focused on bright, open spaces that create a pleasant atmosphere for both visitors and employees. Special design accents are provided by Fural’s metal ceiling solutions.

Predominantly, long-panel and square cassette ceilings were installed in the KLK and KQK clip-in systems. The combination of clean lines and rhythmically applied colour and shape contrasts creates a lively yet calm spatial feel. Thanks to the Rg 2.5 – 16% perforation, the ceilings make a noticeable contribution to optimising room acoustics – a key factor in high-traffic areas such as corridors, waiting zones, and the dining hall.

The bold use of colour also reflects a strong sense of identity: warm yellow and orange tones run in stripes across the ceiling surfaces, providing both orientation and a pleasant ambiance. Another advantage: the systems are fully accessible for inspection, meeting the requirements of a long-term, maintenance-friendly building concept.
