Erber Campus Getzersdorf
Architekt Podsedensek/Wien, 2015
With the aim of designing the first building in Austria to achieve LEED building certification in platinum, the Podsedensek architectural office developed a building structure derived from the Yin-Yang symbol. Completed in mid-2015, the Erber Campus in Getzersdorf, Lower Austria now offers employees of the world's leading innovator in agricultural and biotechnology an environment with a sense of well-being.
Optimum working conditions are ensured even on hot summer days by the installed cooling ceiling cloud. The metal floating-ceiling elements impress with precise, 60° edges and high acoustic efficiency. Each of the canopies comprises three individual elements and a total of 240 canopies were installed in the various building cubes.
