Assicurazioni RAS Milan

The 17th century RAS insurance company building in Milan is of great historical importance. The old 5-storey building has a wonderful façade and impresses in the interior as well with prestigious materials. Stucco, marble and granite dominate large areas of the foyer. On the upper floors, there are numerous offices, which were modernised during the course of the restoration.

Clip-in and strip grid tiles were installed in the corridors and offices, which ensure optimum working conditions, both visually and acoustically. The long interconnecting corridors, in particular, posed a particular challenge. Pleasant acoustics were achieved thanks to the high sound absorption capacity of the tiles with their Rg 2,5 - 16 % perforation. The large number of niches and projections of the old building were equipped with many specially manufactured fitting tiles.
