Team V Architectuur/Amsterdam, 2014

The renovation concept for the head office of insurance company a.s.r. in Utrecht has been recognised with the award of "Best office building in the Netherlands 2014" from magazine Intermediair. The property dating back to the seventies has been transformed into an energy-efficient, modern office building in line with the ideas of architects Team V from Amsterdam. In addition, the complex has been extended with a conference centre and restaurants and now provides working space for up to 4,000 people.

Large areas of the interior are fitted with strip-grid ceilings. As well as providing excellent room acoustics in the spacious offices, these ceilings also set the tone visually with some areas in white (RAL 9010) and others in black-brown (RAL 8022), most of them perforated in Rg 2,5 - 16 %.  In total, more than 17,500 m² of FURAL metal ceiling has been installed.
