Osterhofen indoor swimming pool

Duscher/Fürstenzell, 2010

The architects at Duscher came up with something quite special for the new indoor swimming pool in Osterhofen. In order to create a particularly pleasant atmosphere, both ceilings and walls were designed with sound-absorbing ceiling tiles with Rg 2,5 - 16 % perforations. Wall elements, powder coated in various shades of yellow and green, provide colourful accents with a seemingly flowing colour transition.

In order to comply with the special requirements for an indoor swimming pool, the ceiling tiles were designed in aluminium and the substructure was provided with a C4 coating for extremely corrosive environments, in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-2 "Corrosion protection of steel structures by protective paint systems". Both the ceiling and wall cladding were designed as a hang-in system.
