Swiss major bank, Zürich

Büro 8 AG

Right in the center of Zurich, near the main train station, is the new Europaallee quarter, also known as "A Quarter Full of Zurich". As the name suggests, it houses all aspects of life, from stores, restaurants, services and leisure facilities to work, study and living. The area consists of urban, interconnected buildings designed by renowned architectural offices, with excellent communication and a large common outdoor area.

One of the buildings houses the office of a major Swiss bank. Completed in November 2020, the project impresses not only with its appearance, but also with its functionality. In addition to the bank's premises, there is also a common room with free individual workstations and a multimedia room for group work.

Metalit expanded metal ceilings and the adapted suspended metal tiles complete the interior and enable optimal room acoustics. In excellent cooperation with the processing company Röösli AG, a system was created that meets all requirements. Moreover, the cooling elements, which were attached to the raw ceiling, ensure a pleasant room climate. This was excellently solved with the clever combination of node strip grid and H28 Hang-in system.

A real eye-catcher is a column in the middle of the room, reminiscent of a flower. Custom stencils were made for this purpose. The expanded metal was cut out manually at the factory.

The optical effect is breathtaking!
